Sanyuantang offers customized equipment designs to handle abrasive materials, varying feed loads, and continuous mineral screening operations, with suitable screen media, dust control, and maintenance access.
Wear-Resistant Contact Parts
Select woven wire mesh, perforated plates and suitable liners for the particle size and abrasion. Specify carbon steel, SS304 or SS316L where material compatibility requires it.
Screen Tension & Cleaning
Correct tension helps maintain aperture stability. Select cleaning arrangements for dry fine sand or granular minerals prone to buildup and blinding.
Dust Containment
Enclosed housings, flexible connections, sealed outlets and dust collection interfaces can limit dust release at feeding, screening and discharge points.
Maintenance Access
Plan access to screen frames, drives, bearings and wear parts. Replaceable screens and accessible assemblies simplify inspection and servicing.
How to Select the Right Mineral Screening Equipment?
Choose the right mineral screening equipment based on your material type, feed size, required grades, and processing capacity. Also consider the available installation space and existing production line layout.
Identify the Material
Provide the mineral type, bulk density, moisture, flowability and abrasiveness. Wet or sticky feed may require pretreatment or a different screening process.
Measure the Feed Distribution
Send the maximum particle size and a sieve analysis showing the percentage in each size range, including fines and near-size particles.
Define Product Grades
Specify actual aperture dimensions or target mesh sizes, acceptable oversize and undersize, and the number of finished fractions and outlets.
Confirm the Required Throughput
State the feed rate in t/h and expected split between fractions. Capacity depends on the material, mesh, bed depth and separation accuracy.
Review the Site Layout
Confirm available floor space, installation height, feed direction, support structure and access for inspection and screen replacement.
Connect the Process Equipment
Identify existing crushers, conveyors, elevators and storage bins so feed and discharge connections can be reviewed with the screen.

Mineral Screening FAQs
What screening equipment is suitable for silica sand and quartz sand?
Gyratory sifters are commonly used for dry silica sand and quartz sand classification where several grades and continuous processing are required. Select the model from the aperture, throughput, feed grading and moisture.
How many particle size grades can one gyratory screen produce?
A multi-deck gyratory screen can separate material into several fractions in one operation. The number of grades depends on the decks, apertures and outlet configuration.
What is the processing capacity of a mineral screening machine?
Capacity varies with the model, bulk density, particle size distribution, aperture and required separation accuracy. A capacity estimate requires the material specifications and target product grades.
Can one screening machine process different mineral materials?
Yes, when the screen media, material contact parts, deck arrangement and operating conditions suit the materials. Mesh changes, cleaning or machine adjustments may be needed between products.
What screen mesh is suitable for abrasive minerals?
Woven wire mesh, perforated plates or suitable wear-resistant surfaces can be selected according to abrasiveness, particle size and operating load. Also consider aperture accuracy and replacement frequency.
Can screening equipment be integrated into an existing crushing line?
Yes. Review space, feeding height, discharge positions and operating capacity before connecting the screen to crushers, belt conveyors, bucket elevators and storage silos.
How does material moisture affect mineral screening?
Moisture can make fines adhere together or block openings, reducing separation efficiency. Wet or sticky feeds may need alternative screen configurations or pretreatment.
What information is needed for a mineral screening equipment quotation?
Provide the material type, feed size distribution, required product grades, capacity in t/h, moisture and line layout. These details help determine the model, mesh arrangement, equipment quantity and quotation.
